Hello, I'm Rachael. I'm a graphic designer, illustrator and creative.
I design and make books. I create merchandise collections for cultural institutions. I build brand identities for small businesses and startups.

After a childhood spent making things, and unable to imagine a world without creating, I studied at Norwich University of the Arts (formerly Norwich School of Art & Design), graduating with a BA Hons in Graphic Design.
With the ability to work globally (thanks internet!) I can be found creating in my Suffolk studio, in London, or on a train somewhere in between.
I have over a decade of experience, first as an in-house designer leading a small team and then independently as a freelancer before founding rachaeldesign, my own studio.

I'm a skilled vector artist. I delight in seeking out the details which make things unique, and using them to create designs with an engaging and playful style.
I appreciate well crafted brand guidelines and I've thoroughly enjoyed developing merchandise ranges for Aardman Animations, Posy Simmonds, Quentin Blake and the estates of numerous artists.

A few of my favourite things
